FLOATING SUPPORT
We offer an approach tailored to the needs of the person. This can include support with:
-
Finances, i.e accessing the right benefits
-
Obtaining work, i.e applying for jobs, writing a CV
-
Household skills, i.e shopping on a budget, meal planning and preparation
-
Health and hygiene, i.e registering with a GP
-
Social skills, i.e accessing support groups
AIM OF OUR FLOATING SERVICE
The aim is that it will enable people to live as independently as possible, with access to housing-related support from staff whenever necessary. We give one-to-one support to each person, all designed around their individual needs, aims and ambitions.

HOW IT WORKS
People accessing our service are allocated a Housing Support Worker who they meet with on an appointment system. Support is available from 9am to 5pm, five days a week, although when there is a planned need outside of these hours support can be offered on an occasional basis.
All support offered is service-user led, meaning that they can meet with staff as often or as little as they like, up until all issues are resolved.
